SUPPORT AT A DIFFICULT TIME
PERSONAL HELP WITH THE NEXT STEPS
When you contact us, let us know where the deceased is and the intended destination. If a funeral director or another contact person is already involved, share their contact details so we know who is coordinating the arrangements.
You do not need to have every detail ready before calling. Tell us what has already been arranged and what you need help with, and we can discuss the next steps with you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How can I get help outside office hours?
Call our hotline on +298 22 22 22. We answer around the clock and provide personal support.
Is a mortuary passport needed between Denmark and the Faroes?
The Danish Patient Safety Authority states that a mortuary passport is not required between Denmark and the Faroes. Other documentation and transport requirements can still apply. Clarify the route, coffin and documents with the funeral director and carrier.
Does the same guidance apply to every country?
No. Transport to or through other countries can require a mortuary passport and other certificates. Include any transit countries when discussing the arrangements.
